Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Bigfork, Montana, Ponderosa Ridge emerges as a stunning architectural gem seamlessly integrated into its natural surroundings. This extraordinary residence, spanning 7,335 square feet, captures the essence of rustic elegance and modern sophistication, making it a beacon of charm in the heart of the wilderness.
A ridgetop high above Flathead Lake and the quaint lake town of Bigfork creates this amazing lake-like design. With the large “glass wall” concept taken to another level, Dante’s Ridge is simply the landmark design that is unmatched in this region of Montana.
It is a structure designed from every aspect to simply protect the Owners from the elements but to feel as though it is an open, covered lake retreat. To be able to meet that goal the design team started with artist sketches that barely changed through final renders. They simply hit their mark and exceeded this deserving family's expectations as every step of the process.
Large sections that cantilever and create horizon lines from the interior that give the appearance that the lake is just below their very feet, the home is astonishing in every room. The entire lake side portion of the home is a 12’ wall of glass, running from one end of the house to the other with very few structural breaks. A massive concrete fireplace sets in the middle of the great room, one that the very main structure sets on and is surrounded by glass on 3 sides.
